Mr. Lenz attended California State University, Long Beach, as a chemistry major. While a student at CSULB, some of his original research in the area of physical organic chemistry was published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Mr. Lenz graduated, cum laude, with his Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1982. He was admitted to the California State Bar in the same year. He admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States District Court for the Central District. Mr. Lenz is an associate of Paul A. Lenz, Inc., first with his father, Paul Arthur Lenz, who recently retired, and now as a sole practitioner.

Mr. Lenz is certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California as a specialist in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust law. Mr. Lenz limits his practice to these areas including conservatorships, will contests and trust litigation.
